Then why not make a nice fanny pack with us? This bag is super practical for grocery shopping, using public transport, traveling... keeping your "little things" safe and allowing you to have your hands free!
We will learn together:
- how to choose the right fabrics for the project
- possibly how to choose suitable interfacing
- how to properly cut the pattern pieces
- how to cut the fabric according to the pattern
- how to sew a zipper and install zipper tape by the meter
- how to sew clean finishing strips
- how to sew your lined bag
- how to make neat straps
- how to attach swivel hooks and adjustment buckles
The prerequisites for this course are knowing how to use a sewing machine, having already sewn some projects (thickness, zipper...), and having already used a pattern. (intermediate level)
People who have taken the course "I sew my first garment" or other intermediate level workshops are welcome to this themed workshop.
English speakers are welcome! Likewise, teenagers are welcome for this course.

The group is composed of a maximum of 6 students.
The course includes:
- 1 X 2h30 cutting the pattern and beginning sewing (zipper placement)
- 1 X 2h30 sewing the project and finishing techniques
- Use of sewing machines and overlockers (depending on your level)
- Provision of basic materials: scissors, pins, black or white overlocker thread…
- smiles, kindness, and respect for everyone
- unlimited drinks offered
Not included: the fabric for the bag and the hardware
For the first course, it is necessary to come with washed and ironed fabric. Feel free to contact me or visit the shop the week before the course to plan the required yardage.
