Do you like colorful patterns? Do you like knitting and staying warm in your pieces? But you don’t know how to combine it all? With jacquard, join us!

Jacquard knitting, very different from woven jacquard fabrics, allows you to pattern knitting with very varied and colorful motifs. By using several threads simultaneously, it thickens the piece and keeps you warm in winter. In this course, we will focus on circular jacquard with floating threads and crossings.

The prerequisites for this course are to know the basics of knitting: (casting on and binding off, knit stitch and purl stitch).

In this 5-hour course you will learn:

how to choose your color combinations well

      the principle of color dominance

how to knit with 2 threads at the same time

how to read a jacquard chart

techniques and tips for a beautiful piece and a soft fabric

      an overview of color knitting

We will knit together a two-color jacquard collar to understand the principles and techniques. There is also knitting time at home for the entire piece.

The course includes:

2 sessions of 2h30 of courses accompanied by an experienced teacher

      needles provided

smiles, kindness, and respect for everyone

      unlimited drinks offered

Recommended yarn for this course: Fonty polar wool: 2 skeins
You can book the course without materials or with materials (then choose the kit option). You can then choose two skeins in-store on the first day of the course.
