Embroidery – Introduction to Sashiko (materials included)

Have you always dreamed of embroidering your creations or customising your clothes with Japanese sashiko embroidery… but never dared to get started? Then the introductory sashiko embroidery course is for you!

You will learn to make your first sashiko stitches, allowing you to create endlessly. You will also receive all the supplies for this course: toile, needle and thread, which you can take home with you.

No prior experience is required for this course. We start with the basics so that you develop the right habits and techniques from the very beginning of your sashiko journey. This course is open to teenagers aged 12 and over.

During this 2.5-hour course, you will learn:

• which materials are used in sashiko embroidery (threads, needle, fabric, etc.)
• how to start your work neatly and finish it
• how to embroider the stitches correctly
• how to create your first pattern
• how to finish your work

Together, we will create a project that you can take home with you.

The course includes:
