Fonty - Saperlipopette - colors 5036 - topaz blue (price for 1 ball - Baby suri - silk - merino)
SAPERLIPOPETTE is a lovely fluffy yarn, precious and delicate.
Although it contains no goat fleece (mohair), by its appearance and feel it complements the family of mohair and angora yarns.
SAPERLIPOPETTE is a supple and lofty yarn, with a soft and tender touch, which actually belongs to the alpaca yarn family; it is also an extraordinary alternative for people allergic to mohair.
Entirely natural, it is made of a subtle blend of three exceptional fleeces.
65% baby suri fibers give a misty, cloudy, and fuzzy look.
20% silk adds strength and elasticity qualities and a shiny, silky appearance.
The extra-fine merino fiber completes the whole by enhancing its loft, volume, and softness.
The suri is a member of the alpaca family (species of llamas, branch of camelids), raised semi-freely on the high Andean plateaus. Its fleece is finer, more wavy (somewhat rasta-like, like dreadlocks), and shinier than that of the common alpaca (huacayo).
SAPERLIPOPETTE can be knitted alone, doubled, or combined with another yarn. When knitted alone, SAPERLIPOPETTE is recommended with needles #3.5 to 4.
