Sewing – Haute couture finishes: Level 2 – Hand-sewn buttonholes
Are you finishing your project and realizing that the thickness of your fabrics won't fit under your machine presser foot?
Your machine doesn't make nice buttonholes?
You want to learn tailoring techniques and make gorgeous buttonholes entirely by hand?
This course is for you Prerequisite:
It is strongly recommended to have taken the hand-sewn haute couture finishes course before attending this course.
The course includes:
- Standard thread
- A spool of extra-strong thread in the color of your choice
We encourage you to bring scraps from the project on which you would like to make your buttonholes after the course. Scraps should be layered in the exact same way as on the actual garment.
If you don't have scraps or a specific project in mind, don't worry; you will be provided with calico to practice.
Our courses take place in our workshop located at:
Either in Ixelles: Avenue de la Couronne, 357 1050 Ixelles
Or in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert: Avenue Georges Henri, 328 1200 Woluwe-Saint-Lambert
