What could be better when the evenings cool down and winter is just around the corner than a cozy poncho to wrap yourself in?
Come crochet your poncho and learn the basket stitch at the same time, a dense and structured stitch, perfect for facing the harshness of winter!

The workshop is accessible to those who have completed the crochet initiation or have a basic knowledge of crochet and know the basic stitches (chain stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet)

We offer the basket stitch, but if you want to use another stitch, it can be adapted according to your preferences.

The course includes:

  • 3 x 2h30 of crochet guided by an experienced instructor
  • the provision of basic materials: scissors, stitch marker, crochet hook (loaned during the workshop)
  • smiles, kindness, and respect for everyone

The recommended yarn for this course is a size 4 to 5 yarn. Here are the options:

- Baby Cotton by DMC
You can buy Fonty yarn in our Woluwe store or purchase it online and we will deliver it to your course in Ixelles 😉 (If you choose this option, please allow 48 hours)

Size 4 crochet hooks are provided for the duration of the course, but you are of course welcome to bring your preferred tools 😉 or get them from the store before the course.
Homework is required between the first and second session, with a one-month deadline to complete it.

Our courses are held in our workshop at:
Either in Ixelles: Avenue de la couronne, 357 1050 Ixelles
Or in Woluwe Saint Lambert: Avenue Georges Henri, 328 1200 Woluwe Saint Lambert

  • Tram 7 or 25 (Etterbeek station stop) - 5 minutes walk
  • Train (Etterbeek station) - 5 minutes walk
  • Tram 8 (ULB stop) - 15 minutes on foot or transfer to Bus 71 to Ixelles cemetery
  • Metro 5 (Delta stop) - 15 minutes on foot or transfer to Bus 71 to Ixelles cemetery

Getting to the Woluwe workshop by public transport:

  • Tram 7 or 25 (George Henri stop) - 4 minutes on foot
  • Metro 1 (Joséphine Charlotte stop) - 9 minutes on foot
  • Metro 1 (Montgomery stop) - 9 minutes on foot
  • Metro 1 or 5 (Mérode stop) - 12 minutes on foot
  • Train (Mérode stop) - 12 minutes on foot
  • Train (Etterbeek station) then transfer to tram 7 towards Heyzel or tram 25 towards Roger to George Henri stop - 4 minutes on foot
  • Train (Central Station) then transfer to metro 1 towards Stockel to Joséphine Charlotte stop - 9 minutes on foot
