Sewing - My project bag

Whether you are a seamstress, knitter, crocheter, or embroiderer; every creative person needs to keep their beautiful creations (and their scissors 😂) safe from their children, husband, cat... On the other hand, your project bag will allow you to carry your work in progress everywhere with elegance.
So why not come and make a beautiful project bag together in a lovely fabric of your choice?
The course "I sew my project bag" is made for you!
Beginners in sewing can participate in this course. More advanced seamstresses will enjoy customizing their bag with our transformation and embellishment suggestions. Knitters and crocheters are obviously welcome on this sewing adventure.
Together we will learn:
- how to trace the pattern
- how to combine fabrics
- how to fuse interfacing
- how to sew your project bag
- how to create pockets/compartments
- how to adapt the finishes according to your sewing level
Prerequisite for this course: have the level of "I am discovering sewing" - beginner initiated
The group is composed of a maximum of 6 students.
The course includes:
- 2 X 2h30 of technical explanations, cutting, preparation of the pattern pieces, and sewing the project
- Use of sewing machines and overlock machines (depending on your level)
- Provision of basic materials: scissors, pins, black or white overlock thread…
- smiles, kindness, and respect for everyone
- unlimited complimentary drinks
Our courses are held in our workshop at:
Either in Ixelles: Avenue de la couronne, 357 1050 Ixelles
Or in Woluwe Saint Lambert: Avenue Georges Henri, 328 1200 Woluwe Saint Lambert
Getting to the Ixelles workshop by public transport:

- Tram 7 or 25 (Etterbeek station stop) - 5 minutes walk
- Train (Etterbeek station) - 5 minutes walk
- Tram 8 (ULB stop) - 15 minutes on foot or connection with Bus 71 to Ixelles cemetery
- Metro 5 (Delta stop) - 15 minutes on foot or connection with Bus 71 to Ixelles cemetery
Getting to the Woluwe workshop by public transport:
- Tram 7 or 25 (George Henri stop) - 4 min walk
- Metro 1 (Joséphine Charlotte stop) - 9 min walk
- Metro 1 (Montgomery stop) - 9 min walk
- Metro 1 or 5 (Mérode stop) - 12 min walk
- Train (Mérode stop) - 12 min walk
- Train (Etterbeek station) then take the connection with tram 7 towards Heyzel or tram 25 towards Roger to George Henri stop - 4 min walk
- Train (Central Station) then take the connection with metro 1 towards Stockel to Joséphine Charlotte stop - 9 mins walk
This class is taught in French. We can provide additional explanations in English if needed.
