Sewing – My craft bag
Would you like to sew an original piece to store your project?
Whether you are a seamstress, knitter, crocheter, or embroiderer; every creative person needs to protect their pretty creations (and their scissors 😂) from their children, husband, or cat... Moreover, your project bag will allow you to take your work in progress everywhere with you with elegance.
So why not come and make a lovely project bag together using a beautiful fabric of your choice?
The "I sew my project bag" course is made for you!
Sewing beginners are welcome to join this course. More advanced seamstresses will enjoy customising their bag with our transformation and embellishment suggestions. Knitters and crocheters are obviously welcome in this sewing adventure.
Together, we will learn how to:
- copy the pattern
- combine fabrics
- apply interfacing
- sew your project bag
- create pockets/compartments
- adapt the finishes according to your sewing level
Prerequisite for this course: have the level of "I discover sewing" - advanced beginner
The group consists of a maximum of 6 students.
The course includes:
- 2 x 2.5 hours of technical explanations, cutting, preparation of the pattern pieces, and sewing of the project
- The use of sewing machines and overlockers (depending on your level)
- The provision of basic equipment: scissors, pins, black or white overlocker thread…
