DMC offers you this box to allow you to discover the Eco Vita 360 thread palette. All thread categories are included, with a mix of bright and muted tones.
The box is made of cardboard to respect the environment. The DMC ECO VITA logo on the box is embossed.
The DMC Eco Vita 360 organic wool thread is an environmentally friendly collection offered by DMC. It is a single-ply thread made of organic Merino wool, with 60 colors available and Woolmark certification. This thread is naturally dyed, without the use of chemicals, and is very durable.
The organic wool used for this thread follows high standards, prohibiting the use of hormonal treatments, promoting breeding conditions respectful of animals, the planet, and people. It also excludes mulesing, an unethical practice.
DMC Eco Vita 360 threads can be used for various traditional embroidery techniques, cross-stitch, and punch needle, as well as for more recent trends such as weaving and "wool on wool" embellishment.
The dyeing process of these threads takes place in four steps: infusion, carded wool, spinning, and skeining. The colors are obtained with natural ingredients such as henna, walnut, weld, madder, rhubarb, cochineal, and indigo.
