It's pajama season!
We snuggle up in warm flannel, cotton satin, double gauze, and all those beautiful fabrics that keep us company through the night!
I thought it was time to give you a little overview of the pajama patterns we love ❤️ the most at the workshop and in the store.
To do this, I offer you my top 10 women's pajamas, of course, but also for children and men!
Let's get started!
Budapest by Ikatee - For women (32 to 52) and children (3 to 12 years)
Budapest is a pajama pattern for women but also for children! It consists of a short, loose top with a tailored collar, and wide bottoms with an elastic waistband and side pockets for maximum comfort.
The top comes in a long-sleeve version with wrist cuffs or a short-sleeve version, depending on the season. The bottom offers a pants option with ankle cuffs and a shorts option with side slits.
The set can be fully enhanced with a piping finish that adds a lot of character to the outfit.
As I mentioned earlier, the size range is extensive since the women's version goes from 32 to 52. For your information, size 32 roughly corresponds to a 14-year-old and 34 to a 16-year-old, which allows a size link with the children's range offered from 3 to 12 years in a unisex version.
To sew Budapest:
- summer version: cotton poplin, viscose, silk, batiste, plumetis, double gauze, chambray, linen, seersucker, cotton lawn, tana lawn, broderie anglaise...
- winter version: flannel, fine corduroy.
A great basic that we have sewn many times at the workshop with our students.

Maé-Lys by Cha Coud - For women and young girls (34 to 52)
You know I really love Charlotte's patterns from the brand Cha Coud. A few months ago, Charlotte released a homewear collection with a kimono, a summer night set, a nightdress... and of course a pajama!
Maé-Lys is a timeless pajama pattern that will be both comfortable and stylish.
The pants have a loose fit. They feature an elastic waistband and a small band at the ankle.
The shirt closes with buttons down the center front, its open shirt collar dresses the neckline.
It is possible to play with the direction of the patterns to highlight the wrist and pant leg seams.
Recommended fabrics to sew Maé-Lys are: satin, batiste, double gauze, chambray, linen, tencel, viscose, flannel…
Don't forget the other supplies: 4 shirt buttons about 12mm in diameter and 2.5 cm wide elastic.
The Rêveur - for men (XS to XXL) and boys (4 to 14 years old)
It's time to move to the men's option with the brand "Les beaux gosses" and its Rêveur pajama!
With its two lengths, patch pockets, and piped version, the RÊVEUR pajama will be the ideal companion for stylish handsome guys right from waking up.
Easy and quick to sew, this pattern is perfect for starting to sew clothes.
Depending on the fabrics and lengths chosen, this classic in the gentleman's wardrobe will adapt to all seasons.
As with Budapest, we love the piped version and the desire to make a pajama duo for couples or even the whole family is not far off!
Men's sizes range from XS to XXL, for children from 4 to 14 years old.
The Atelier Brunette pajama - for women from size 34 to 46
Simple and effective pajamas, a sophisticated cut for an irresistible homewear look? We have what you need!
More than just pajamas, a piece to have fun with.
The Atelier Brunette pajama is available in two versions:
- Version A: The top and the shorts
The specifics:
Kimono sleeves for the top, and a notched tailored collar on a center front seam. The shorts have a double elastic waistband. The sides are rounded and enhanced with a pretty bias tape.
- Version B: The top and the pants
The specifics:
Kimono sleeves for the top and a notched tailored collar on a center front seam. The pants have a double elastic waistband.
The cut is straight and wide for top comfort!

Madame Hilda from Studio Schnittreif - for women XS to XXL
Studio Schnittreif is a great pattern brand very well known in Germany! This brand offers super comfortable and well-cut patterns.
I suggest you sew "MADAME HILDA": a classic and stylish pajama!
Short or long, you choose the length of the straight pants with elastic waist as well as the sleeves because you will find both versions included in the pattern.
The top of the pajama presents some small technical challenges with its button placket and collar. The illustrated and detailed step-by-step guide will help you a lot in making it and will guide you through each technical step.
Madame Hilda is offered in 6 sizes from XS to XXL.
This model can be sewn from an intermediate sewing level.

Pilou by Petits D'om - for children from 2 to 16 years old
What a well-chosen name, Pilou!
Pilou is a pajama pattern for girls and boys, available from 2 to 16 years old, from the children's brand petit D'om which makes great patterns for kids (by the way, did you see the amazing animal slippers in the photo 😍)
This pajama model is a basic and timeless piece in our little ones' wardrobe.
Designed for knit fabrics (jersey, sweatshirt fabric...), the cut is straight for both top and bottom, with moderate ease for comfortable wear without being too loose.
The neckline is rounded and quite close to the neck.
The cuffs of the sleeves and legs as well as the hem of the top are finished with a ribbed band or jersey.
The elastic at the waist is directly integrated into the cuff on the top of the pants.
Depending on the fabric chosen (from fine jersey to the thickest sweatshirt fabric), you will get a pajama that is more or less warm.
You can also use the top pattern to make a sweatshirt, and use the bottom one to sew joggers.
All these assembly and finishing options make Pilou a very quick and easy model to sew. It is ideal if you are starting out with stretch fabrics!
Sacha by Ikatee - for children from 3 to 12 years old
We stay with children’s knit pajama patterns to introduce Sacha by Ikatee.
Sacha is also offered in 2 lengths: pants or shorts. The top with sleeves continuing from the body is also available in short or long sleeve versions.
The cut is loose with an elasticated waistband and a rib knit collar for maximum comfort. The cuffs and hems of the long pants are finished with rib knit.
The bottom of Sacha can be made in knit or woven fabric according to your preferences.
Fabric suggestions for sewing Sacha: jersey, interlock, cotton elastane, sweatshirt fabric or french terry
The bottom can also be made in woven fabric: poplin, flannel, lightweight denim.
Gaby by Ikatee - for little ones aged 3 to 12 years
The romper version, one piece so adored by little ones!
Gaby is a jumpsuit pattern in the pajama spirit, available in long or short versions for girls and boys aged 3 to 12 years.
It features a button placket at the front for easy dressing. Gaby comes in long or short leg versions and in long sleeve, short sleeve, or sleeveless versions. The cuffs, collar, and ankles (or thighs) are edged with rib knit for extra comfort.
Gaby is a comfortable model, perfect for cozying up at home... in all seasons!
Fabric suggestions for sewing Gaby:
- Fabric 1: jersey, pointelle knit, french terry or fleece, polar knit, plush knit.
- Fabric 2: rib knit (rib knit: thick rib folded in half).
Soupir by Maison Fauve - for women from size 34 to 52
We move on to a slightly sexier version with Maison Fauve... Slip into your handmade pajama, and with a sigh of relief, let yourself drift into the arms of Morpheus. The lovely pattern Soupir combines absolute comfort and the little details that make your sewing project the most refined loungewear:
A blouse with a wide neckline closed by small very feminine ties, a cut neither too loose nor too fitted, and a wide hem on the sleeve cuff.
The pants are straight, with Italian pockets and a flat waistband at the front (it’s always more elegant) and an elasticated back for comfort both day and night.
The sewing skill level to sew Soupir is confident beginner/intermediate.
The Soupir pattern comes in sizes 34 to 52 and should be sewn in a woven fabric like cotton satin, viscose jacquard (as shown in the photos), viscose poplin, cotton lawn... there are many options for this pyjama which can also be worn as casual homewear!
Songe and Blush Duo by Maison Fauve - for women from size 34 to 52
We continue with the sexy... Slip into a little short, light as a dream, soft as a songe... The perfect little short, quickly sewn, to wear without moderation, that’s it. The Songe short comes in 2 versions, with or without an Italian pocket. Its waist is not fully elasticated to avoid adding gathered fabric volume on the belly. Adorable paired with the Blush camisole: a defined V-neckline, but wearable with a bra. And even on its own, Blush is the perfect versatile slightly sexy top to slip under a cardigan or wear with a slightly loose sweater.
The slip version is just as alluring and included in the pattern!
The sewing skill level required to sew this duo is confident beginner to intermediate.
For fabric choice, we recommend soft and comfortable fabrics to wear like cotton poplin or viscose, a soft and supple jacquard in viscose, viscose crepe, tencel.
