Between the shop, starting evening courses, and moving the workshop, October and November have been very busy.
So, this review is a bit light in the number of sewing projects but rich in their quality ;-)

On the personal sewing side, the first project is making my first custom top, for which the toile was made during my patternmaking internship at IAM Patterns. I’m super proud of my creation sewn in a unicorn fabric from Dashwood studio, still available in the shop.
The second project is the pretty Alanis blouse from Urban Fairy patterns, a lovely very feminine blouse thanks to its chest gathers, Lavallière collar, and slightly puffed sleeves with a wide cuff. I made it in a pretty Japanese striped cotton in peach and raspberry from my shop, which is also available in fuchsia and blue.
The third personal project is the Montmartre beret from the collaboration between Anne Charlotte’s bazaar and Céline from Ten_years_appart. As a beret fan, I couldn’t resist this super simple and very well explained tutorial!

The fourth personal sewing project is a shirt for my husband in white and blue fabrics. He chose the fabric during our summer vacation and wanted a beautiful shirt in this bright blue fabric!

In the workshop, I made four sewing projects to improve my daily life; I was tired of seeing my old ironing board cover. So without hesitation, here it is renewed in a pretty Japanese sakura print, and why stop there… I also made a pig and a draft stopper matching my board (and my beret ;-) )
And of course, I have to pay tribute to my little sewing weights which are great and improve my daily life as a seamstress!
On the shop side: making masks, furoshiki, and baskets
In the end, it’s not such a bad outcome ;-)
